What happened to video information

In previous versions of Emby, there was a section dedicated to being able to find and sort all media on your server with certain parameters such as being able to see all videos using certain codexs or certain resolutions.

It feels like this got replaced by Server -> Expert -> Statistics

If this is true, the Emby package is now missing a good tool to review the complete manifest of the server. It was useful for determining if the age of videos and what media need to be upgraded.

If this tool is still in the Emby, could someone please point me in the direction where it is?

If you are referring to reports, install the emby reports plugin.

Yep, thats what I was looking of.

I didn't notice it because its using the Folder Sync icon.

Is it possible to look into having some different icons for these plugins? Three addons right now are using the same icon. I'll even make them for you guys if you're interested.

Thanks for your help.

Also, just installed it ---

The new addon is missing a lot of features =(

- I can't sort by Resolution

- I can't sort by Codex

- I can't show all movies

- I cant show all TV series

etc

It feels like a lot of the more important features are now missing.

Select 'Movies' or 'Series' from here:

Most likely a matter of nomenclature... 'Video', 'Resolution' & 'Audio' are probably what you're looking for.

Sorting is determined by the 'Grouping' selection.

But paring down the columns 1st helps.

You can't show all movies because 'Group movies into collections' is selected elsewhere. This REALLY requires a 'toggle' feature on most any view (previously discussed alot).

Also, 'Subtitles' column is available, but is blank throughout.

Edit: Make that 'Subtitles', 'Trailers' & 'Specials' are blank throughout (from me, at least).

What I'm referring to is this:

You see how there are hyperlinks at the top of the columns for a lot of the headers?

There's several that are missing. Video, Resolution and Audio are some of the biggest ones that I used with the old system.

I mean sure, I suppose I can export it to Excel and do that, but thats a big set of sorting I'm missing I used to be able to do on the fly.

I'm not an expert on the reports plugin but aren't there controls to customize the columns?

As far as I can, all you can do is customize which columns are shown, not which ones are sortable.
