scan media library is slow.

There could be many reasons.

 

Is this a initial scan?

What is your Library structure?

Do you have chapter extraction enabled during library scan?

 

The process indicator is really deceiving as it will hit 70+% fast and sits there for awhile and finish.  You can't really just watch it.  There are dozens of topics on it.

Enable chapter image extraction  is not check. This is  a initial scan, now is 80.4%, many folders not show thumbnail, and some folder's pictures are can't show now. I think it will be OK for a moments.

Emby will not display anything correctly until a initial scan has finished.
