Luke 42081 Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 Hi there, pictures should be showing. Did you setup a photo library in Emby? Office files are not supported. What gave you the impression that they were?
cnah66 0 Posted May 18, 2018 Author Posted May 18, 2018 Thank you for your answer. I knew Emby from Freenas. Freenas is complicated to use. So I give up. but Emby is a perfect works. It's easy install and use, efficiency is perfect too. setup a photo library in Emby, I do bellow 5 steps, but it doesn't work. 1. click "Add Media Library" 2. Content type: Home videos & photos 3. add Folder 4. Enable photos Photos will be detected and displayed alongside other media files. 5. Scan All Libraries
Luke 42081 Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 can you please show a screenshot of your emby library setup so that i can see all the libraries? thanks.
RobWayBro 28 Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 (edited) I have found I have better luck with photos if I keep the photo library file path on the local Emby server and not store the photos on a network (NAS in my case) location. EDIT: I see you have the library local.. Edited May 18, 2018 by RobWayBro 1

Solution Happy2Play 9783 Posted May 18, 2018 Solution Posted May 18, 2018 My guess would be there is a issue since you already have a library pointing to a higher level folder "C:\m". 1
cnah66 0 Posted May 19, 2018 Author Posted May 19, 2018 My guess would be there is a issue since you already have a library pointing to a higher level folder "C:\m". Thank you. you're right. I just remove c:\m\ , then c:\m\pic2 can show, but c:\m\pic3 can't show. I don't know why.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 (edited) Possibly content type. Dynamic library images usually take at least two library scans to be created also. Edited May 19, 2018 by Happy2Play 1
cnah66 0 Posted May 19, 2018 Author Posted May 19, 2018 Thank you for all kindness friends. I know why. photos should select "Home videos & photos" not "Mixed content".
