RRo100 10 Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 Hello, with many artists the picture is missing. I have an example here: 2PAC is recorded in Emby without a picture, in "theaudiodb" the artist is displayed. What am I doing wrong? http://media.theaudiodb.com/browse.php http://media.theaudiodb.com/artist/111318
Luke 42079 Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 Hi there, can you please show the entire screenshot so that we can see where you are navigating? thanks.
Luke 42079 Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 Have you checked your internet metadata settings for that emby library? is audiodb enabled? Thanks.
Luke 42079 Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 When did you enable AudioDb? Try refreshing one of these artists and see if that gets an image downloaded. Thanks.

RRo100 10 Posted May 18, 2018 Author Posted May 18, 2018 (edited) It does not work. see images. But there are 70% artist images found Edited May 18, 2018 by RRo100
Luke 42079 Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 So perhaps there just aren't any images available for the musicbrainz id that the artist is using. Have you checked into that on audiodb and fanart? They may have a 2pac image but maybe they don't have the same musicbrianz id. Try using the Identify feature on the artist.
RRo100 10 Posted June 3, 2018 Author Posted June 3, 2018 I had to reinstall EMBY (emby-server-qnap_3.4.1.0_x86_64.qpkg). In my musil library, in the Artists view, only thumbnails and no images are displayed. For the artist metadata "Artists External Ids" the correct "MusicBrainz Id" is entered. If I enter the registered "MusicBrainz Id" via "identify" as a selection, the image is loaded. I can reproduce the behaviors under Windows and QNAP
Luke 42079 Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 @@RRo100, I've merged your topics as they are discussing the same issue. Before setting up the library, did you enable the AudioDb image provider for artists?
Luke 42079 Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 Also in your 2pac example, the artist has the wrong musicbrainz id. Did you notice that on audiodb and fanart? They may have a 2pac image but maybe they don't have the same musicbrianz id. That's why Identify fixes it, because it gets the right musicbrainz id.
RRo100 10 Posted June 4, 2018 Author Posted June 4, 2018 (edited) Hello Luke, yes I activated the AudioDB Image Provider. 2PAC was a bad example, that's why I chose "Christina Aguilera". At "Christina Aguilera" the ID's are correct When I open the "musicbrainz" link, I get the right artist on the "musicbrainz" homepage. Edited June 4, 2018 by RRo100
Happy2Play 9780 Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 Hello Luke, yes I activated the AudioDB Image Provider. 2PAC was a bad example, that's why I chose "Christina Aguilera". At "Christina Aguilera" the ID's are correct When I open the "musicbrainz" link, I get the right artist on the "musicbrainz" homepage. But as your first image shows musicbrainz is not a image provider.
Luke 42079 Posted June 5, 2018 Posted June 5, 2018 Can you supply one of your Christina Aguilera test songs? thanks.
