Hey guys does et work without an internet connection? I'm thinking no because all I got was a blank screen on my PC.

It does work, but only after you've successfully used it with an internet connection.

Hi, latest versions of everything, I also cannot use ET without Internet.

First, it shows a black screen at startup.

If I already have it started and then go offline, it does nothing when I hit play. Then if I go online, hit it again, then it plays.

Really wish this would work fine without internet!

This isn't normal. Are you using the store app or the windows desktop app?

Hi, I am using Emby Theater Desktop.

I somehow managed to get it to start fine, no more blank screen.

For the second problem, it actually does something when I hit play, I just didn't have the patience. At first nothing happens (so you click and click and wth), but then after 15-20 seconds, the spinning wheel appears and the media plays fine. It can be replicated as long as the computer doesn't have access to internet, 15-20 seconds every time. Then if internet is switched on, I press play and it plays right away. Once it's been allowed once, it looks like it plays right away even if it's cut off again. Until the next restart.

Do you have cinema mode enabled? perhaps it's timing out trying to play an internet trailer.
