There used to be an option to to convert to MP4/MKV, etc, when recording, now all my streams are just recording to .ts. Did the option get removed or just disappeared?

The on the fly recording feature was not a stable option and had several limitations. We've replaced this with a feature to convert after the recording has completed. You can learn more by checking out our release announcement:

Thank you. Guess I go back to MCEBuddy. I personally liked that feature.

I cannot find the convert option on the recordings channel:

 

 

It's only available on normal video folders ("Konvertieren"):

 

 

How can I (automatically) convert the recordings?

Is this because I'm using the NextPVR plugin?

Well, yes, there it works, but so I cannot set it to convert all new recordings, only recordings inside already existing series.
