& in username no good ?

I create a use for my mum to get access from her new laptop.

User was Mum&John.

She reported she could not connect.

I tried, and after clicking on the 'Mum&John' icon, the user name in the logon screen was just 'Mum&'

If I added the John to that, I was able to get connected.

If you signout, you get the same issue.
