danny6869 0 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Anyone know how to get other graphic file formats configured in the MBPhoto plugin? I have the proper codecs installed for DNG, but they will not display, or scan.
Luke 42077 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 we would have to add server-side support for that format.
danny6869 0 Posted March 27, 2014 Author Posted March 27, 2014 What do I have to do to get this on the radar for feature requests? (it'd be great if it was able to handle all formats that proper codecs are installed for)
ebr 16169 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 There is no longer any MBPhoto plug-in. Photo support is native to the server. Be sure the plug-in is gone on your system.

icthusman1 23 Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Where? The asterisk was removed from the "Photo" type in the list. Is there somewhere else we forgot? I must be a version behind then. I will do the update and check again.
icthusman1 23 Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I must be a version behind then. I will do the update and check again. After updating I see that you are correct. I can't view any Photos, but it does recognize them now.
Ge0rge 1 Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 is there any way to view the DNG photos in any Emby front-end?
Luke 42077 Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 DNG files are already supported, no plugin needed.
Ge0rge 1 Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 (edited) I see just a black square instead. I use a linux emby server, maybe some addon soft required? There are no problems with jpg pics in the same folder... Edited December 11, 2016 by Ge0rge
Luke 42077 Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 Can you please attach the emby server log? https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/ Thanks !
Ge0rge 1 Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 Sure, here's a debug log with DNG view attempts... Log.txt
Ge0rge 1 Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 is it ok to post it in this thread, or I should post this to https://emby.media/community/index.php?/forum/116-linux/?
Ge0rge 1 Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 looks like it's not yet supported by ffmpeg, sadness...
Luke 42077 Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 Doesn't matter because we use ImageMagick for images. I see an error in your log I'm just not sure what it is yet.
Ge0rge 1 Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 i can upload sample file if this could help.
Luke 42077 Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 I reproduced the issue. there are some dependencies missing from our image magick deployment and i have not yet taken the time to figure out everything it requires in order to support dng.
Ge0rge 1 Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 is there a known release version number targeted for this change implementation?
