Can you post a screenshot of your hardware acceleration settings in the server?

Sorry, I misinterpreted the subtitles being played but the net of my statement is still the issue.  The transcode is progressing at a horribly slow rate.  So slow that the app is never able to actually start producing video or even the interface to interact with it.

 

BTW - the ability to choose the audio pre-playback will be coming to the app.

I use the intel experimental before because having problems my second client roku ultra.

 

Yesterday leave without none how @@Luke ask me. I do the test in a few minutes, first i need to leave in the thruehd audio and try to change it to ac3 5.1 when play starts to to do a fair test with and without acceleration.

 

The capture of transcoding setting ---->TODAY<-------... At the time of the report it was using the Intel quick sync.

 

Hold on and wait for the results with NONE in a few...

I appreciate the help of the community here and the developers.

 

I leave at side Plex because their poor interest in the costumer, i fact, i close my life membership there.

 

You are doing a excellent job, now i feel like home.

 

And thanks for your patience with me, how you can see i'm new here and i tried to learn faster and don't change many settings and leave the app do the job.

 

My goal is be part of this, reporting and leave respectful suggestions to improve some features.

Hi, I do the test after update to the last beta server version.18 a few minutes ago

 

The same file tried to play on the nvidia Shield and change the audio can't be possible.

 

I tried 3 times

 

I attach the 3 logs + the server log. the hour is almost the same 1 minute of difference.

 

-------------

ALSO from the nVidia Shield I send the crash report (because the app crash)

+ i send the log to the developer vía app after restart the app.

BTW, this time, the subtitles was disable before play in the server side, then i do the test

On the app side this time the player crashed trying to interpret the audio it was being fed and that led to the app crashing when the player was in an unstable state.

 

We should keep the app from crashing in that instance but all of this is tracing back to a problem with the source it seems.

The source, you mean the movie file?

 

If this movie file is setting up to ac3 after it play, it do the direct play perfect to the TV.

 

If the movie is played with the receiver ON who supports Atmos DTS:X etc. Direct play works perfect too, in fact you can do the change of audio or subtitles without problems.

 

I can try with another file if you need

I'm not sure but the player threw two errors I've never seen before.  It was just trying to play the normal DD (ac3) track.

Hi. I send the logs with a few tests a minutes or two ago from the APP.

 

Some files seems have some.... issue? Or th einfo is not taking in the right way from the app or server?.

 

I going to REMUX again Indiana movie and do another test.

I'm about to update ExoPlayer in the next beta of the app so it may be worth testing these when that is out.
