atrpm 3 Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 Hello, I’m new to Emby and I’m trying a few things. On the Emby Theater for Windows app I get a guide option on the home screen under the live tv section but if I click Live TV, the Guide option seems to be missing from the menu bar. Is this normal or I’m in missing a configuration somewhere? Thanks!
Guest asrequested Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 Live TV is the home screen, just click guide. If you click Live TV, you're at the home screen, and the guide button is right there. I'm not understanding what you're doing????

Luke 42078 Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 Hi, we need to add the guide as a tab in that section, however in the meantime the guide is accessible directly from the home screen. Just configure your emby user home screen settings and make sure the live tv section is visible on the home screen (which it is by default). Thanks !
Guest asrequested Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 But if you click on Live TV, you don't go anywhere????? 1
Guest asrequested Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 (edited) AH! I see. With that orientation, I've got Live TV right below, so the guide button is always there. Edited May 14, 2018 by Doofus

Diedrich 377 Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 AH! I see. With that orientation, I've got Live TV right below, so the guide button is always there. Believe it or not, that's incredibly inconvenient to have to scroll down to get to the Guide button. On my setup, even with Guide selected as the default for live TV, it still goes to Suggestions.

I use Horizontal, anyway. It's much better Edited May 14, 2018 by Doofus

It's much better I can’t use horizontal, it doesn’t navigate well with my keyboard/trackpad combo so I use vertical. Here is what it looks like with “Latest” being displayed... later followed by Live TV. As you can see, you can’t see Live TV (screenshot 1) This does not negate the fact that the “Guide” menu button is missing from the Live TV menu header. Also, clicking the Live TV quick link under My Media on the home screen does not take you directly to the guide on the Windows Theater stand-alone program (screenshot 2) Edited June 25, 2018 by Diedrich
Guest asrequested Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 You can always put live TV at the top, above my media.
