Haxy 11 Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 (edited) I deleted subtitles file from movie folder: but Emby still can see this file: Chosing "Refresh metadata" is not a solution because subtitles file is downloading again after this. Edit: Subtitles are downloaded when I open movie details, this is wrong, subtitles should be downloaded when subtitles download scheduler fired, user manualy refresh metadata or manualy choose to search for subtitles. Happy2Play 9780 Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 Are you sure those are not embedded subtitle in the mkv file? What is shown in the Media Info section for the item?
Haxy 11 Posted May 12, 2018 Author Posted May 12, 2018 The next library scan will pick up the change. But I dont want to wait for scheduled library scan or manualy scan whole library. Why there is no option to scan only one item? Second problem is autorefreshing item when I enter item details. Reproduction step: delete sub file -> open movie details -> subtitles file are downloaded automaticly
Happy2Play 9780 Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 There is a Refresh option at every level. Have you clicked the three dot menu?
Luke 42078 Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 Have you explored the 3-dot menu for a particular item?
Haxy 11 Posted May 13, 2018 Author Posted May 13, 2018 Have you explored the 3-dot menu for a particular item? Yes I have explored and there is no option to refresh item files. Refresh metadada is not a solution because it causes redownload subtitles automaticly Should be an option to refresh item files without refreshing metadata or download subtitles
Solution Happy2Play 9780 Posted May 13, 2018 Solution Posted May 13, 2018 There are three options when you select Refresh metadata, select Scan new and updated files. Are you saying subtitles are downloaded when you select that option? 1
Haxy 11 Posted May 13, 2018 Author Posted May 13, 2018 There are three options when you select Refresh metadata, select Scan new and updated files. Are you saying subtitles are downloaded when you select that option? Ok after server restart this option does not download subtitles, so it is ok now. Thanks
Luke 42078 Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 Have you explored the subtitle downloading options for each of your emby libraries to control when the downloading takes place?
