I saw a very old thread requesting this and feel it needs a revisit. It would be great if, when playing music, you could set a duration for song crossfading,

I saw a very old thread requesting this and feel it needs a revisit. It would be great if, when playing music, you could set a duration for song crossfading,

 

with ability in settings (user) for the number of seconds of the cross fade and the option to enable it  or not.

Please soon, its a very decent feature for music as I like them to blend without gaps or fades at the end....Windows Media Center has it if you configured it first in Windows Media Player

Any progress with this feature? Crossfade between songs has been a huge need for ages.
