Starlionblue 82 Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 (edited) Given the new look of MB3, I restored all my Stark Cover processed folder images to "flat" images (using Stark Covers command line). Looks nicer IMHO. My problem now is that a while after I run the "revert" process, all the folder images have been "Stark-ed" again! I've restored the images a few times and it keeps happening. I am trying to figure out what program is doing this and it is driving me a little nuts. Is there some sort of setting in MB server that runs post-processing? I also have MediaCenterMaster installed but I don't think anything is happening there. Have also checked Task Scheduler. Any help appreciated. Edited March 26, 2014 by Starlionblue
Starlionblue 82 Posted March 26, 2014 Author Posted March 26, 2014 Are you using the CoverArt plugin? Nope.
Starlionblue 82 Posted March 26, 2014 Author Posted March 26, 2014 (edited) Ok now I caught it in the act, if you will. I've been using the StarkCovers GUI and using that to revert. It's almost as if it reverts, and then decides to re-Stark again once it is done with un-Starking. When I killed the StarkCovers process it stopped re-Starking. Using the command line this time. We'll see how that goes. Edited March 26, 2014 by Starlionblue
Starlionblue 82 Posted March 26, 2014 Author Posted March 26, 2014 So far, so good. It seems that for some reason the StarkCovers GUI would run revert first, then go back to the top and re-Stark.
Tyborg 0 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Wow, I'm pleasantly surprised. I rarely check this forum and just was checking to see what the new changes were to the server. I wrote StarkCovers almost 5 years ago and didn't think anybody else was still using it. I still run the commandline nightly on my system, but it's not much of a coincidence that it does exactly what I want Out of pure curiosity when you ran it you did you also have a profile checked? As long as you only check the revert to folder.jpg box it should not re-run the "Starking". The only commandline option should be -revertjpg. If you have a profile selected it thinks you are trying to switch from one profile to another and it has to revert first and then re-process. Glad to hear it served you for this long even if you aren't using it anymore.

I've enjoyed StarkCovers for a very long time, running it almost daily. Thanks for a great little utility that prettied up my media.
Tyborg 0 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 hehe, not sure about celebrity, I think I have a very established lurker status at this point. Just to busy with work/life to keep up with this stuff. Still rocking MB2 on the HTPC to keep the WAF solid. I have MB3 installed on another PC to stream to tablets in the house, but my wife/kids would kill me if I changed the UI on the HTPC.

Wife and kids have not been seen it yet. I expect to be woken early this coming Saturday morning by a child who cant figure out how to get to the cartoons anymore.
Tyborg 0 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 After spending years getting support calls from my wife I have been beaten into upgrade submission. Everything is stagnant now and life is good. Have fun Saturday morning:)
Starlionblue 82 Posted March 27, 2014 Author Posted March 27, 2014 I hear you. Nowadays any device used by more than myself is never upgraded until months after a release, and I perform extensive user acceptance testing. Cross fingers...
Tyborg 0 Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Not as glad as I am that you are still around Keep up the good work!
