BillW 30 Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I just ripped a two part movie as mkv files.. I labeled them disc1 and disc2. The time displayed is the length of disc1. From what I read right now MB3 doesn't automatically play both parts seamlessly. Someone wrote about doing an mkvmerge. I get the idea, take both parts of the movie and combine them into one file. I'm not sure how I do that. I did a few searches and came across MKVToolnix which says it will split, join and inspect mkv files. Is this what I need or is there something else? Sorry for the dumb question. I just haven't done this before and really don't want to botch it up.
Luke 42077 Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 yea mkvtoolnix is the best tool for the job, as far as i know. i haven't done it in a while but you basically just drag the first part into the window, then drag the second part, then click a button to merge them.
shaefurr 1340 Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Its easy, open mkv merge GUI. Click Add, and choose Part 1 of the movie. Then Click Append, and choose Part 2 of the movie Then just choose the output destination and movie name, then click Start muxing 2
