App won't play video via HDMI (iPhone) adapter

Hi all

 

I purchased one of the Lightning to HDMI Digital A/V adapters from Apple.  I tried plugging this into my car for playing stuff from my server for the kids in the back, but while I see it playing on my phone, no video is playing via the HDMI connection.  Streaming Netflix on this has no problems.  Am I missing a setting in the app to enable this?

 

We have a long trip to Florida coming up soon and would love to have this working.

Hi, no, it should be automatic. That's very strange. Well, we've tested this with the beta version so I would suggest trying again with the next release of the app. Thanks !

Netflix it is for this trip.  I'll give it a try again when I see the app update again.
