Embyman2000 0 Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Hi folks, I’m focusing on offline library scans. Metadata is available and stored locally. Therefore I deactivated online scrapings completely. Offline scraping works like a charm. Emby is doing very well. However, the process of creating the libraries takes hours and I’m looking for way to shorten this. After all, the rpi3 has a quad core arm processor. Fact is that cpu usage is low throughout the process of creating the libraries. “top“ gives me just about 20% of a total of 400%. I think there is much more potential here. Overclocking may help but again, I’m just using 20% out of 400%. Any ideas how I can make better use of my cpu power? Kind regards
Luke 42078 Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Hi, the more library features you turn off, the faster the initial scan will be. If you can attach a server log we can offer more suggestions: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/ Thanks.
