Transcoding speed

When trying to skip thru a Emby recorded show, I noticed the following

 

1 Emby doesn't register if the skip button has been pressed multiple times. I need to hit skip, wait until it starts playing, and press skip again.

 

2 When praying skip, it takes roughly 5 to 10 seconds for a show to start playing.

 

I don't have the convert to stream friendly format enabled

 

I'm using a Intel 4790k with 16 GB ram. Would adding a graphics card help to speed up the process?

I forgot to mention, this is on a Xbox one using Emby theater.

Mpegts can often be a difficult format for video players to handle. If you try our new feature to convert after the recording has completed I think you'll see a better result.
