No images for recordings

Hi,

 

since version 3.4.0, emby doesn't create anymore images for the recordings done with NextPVR.

 

With version 3.3.x, I had to manually rescan the metadata of the recordings to get an image (with Screen Grabber).

 

I checked the settings in the library and only activated the Screen Grabber for movie and episode images, but still no image get's created.

 

Anything I could try?

Right now it's by design. What kind of tuner do you have?

 

It's a HDHomerun HDHR3-EU (dual network tuner), connected to DVB-C.

 

I'm using NextPVR because:

- I can also connect it to Kodi (and more)

- I can run a script right after recordnig to convert the recordings to mp4 (and more)

- I can use the EPG data provided by DVB-C without external (paid) providers

 

How about adding an option to simply extract an image with the Screen Grabber in the picture editor?

I have the same issue, I think I reported it somewhere a while back, cant remember where. 

A screengrab - or literally anything bar the current blank box would be good.

Emby does not work well natively with my 3 x old HDHR Duals, Tried many times and posted in these forums my issues. 

I had for a time removed the plugin and just had an emby library over the nextPVR recordings - which fixes the black emty boxes, but I lose the show information etc.  Iv moved back to nextPVR plugin.

server log attached.  fired up roku and accessed the recorded TV plugin stuff, then did the same on the web.

 

Missing any artwork for :

beauty and the beach

Royal wedding (I would expect that).

 

I personally would like anything except the blank space seen on the roku's (the web can get coloured in if you search for images however) - but I dont use the web - just the roku's.

You may want to check your next pvr log for errors.

I figured it is nextPVR not getting the artwork - I would just like anything in place of the empty space when there is no artwork found.
