Strm Emby server 3.4

strm file does not play directly from the server where the video is uploaded, in version 3.3 the stream was direct from the example server: movie.com/thewalkingdead.mp4

now it seems that it tries to convert because this 10.1.1.1/file/stream.mkv, has like to go back to version 3.3? Emby For Android TV captures caption for strm files

Or is there a way to disable full transcoding? My VPS server is slow to send the video, so I use strm

dear luke, i am just new with working with emby.

One of the reasons to start working with emby is the very nice look and feeling.

The other reason is that i use also an xbox one and i need to work with a server because it is very much work to get the strm files into the xboxone,

I have only some problems, not only on the xbox also on a laptop with windows 10

I have an iptv subscription with about 4000 vod movies and also series.

I use m3u2strm and load the strm files in a libery.

Emby scanned them and i have all the information.

The only thing is when i start the movie, many movies wont start the circle keeps on moving.

When i use the same strm in kodi, the movies starts immidiatly.

So it looks that the streams are ok but something is not fine tuned in emby.

This could be an mistake from my side.

My server is a dell with 2 xeon processors 16gb mem, videocard with 4gb mem ssd 256gb and 2tb storage.

the server is only working now for emby

I think this should be enough for well functioning.

In the server i use embyserver 3.4.1.0

i will do this later because leak of time.

what i figure out yesterday it is more an issue from emby theatre than server.

When i use kodi with the emby addon the streams starts perfect.

For me it is something between the communication between server and backend.

It is a shame because for the use of theatre we have to pay.

Maybe this info give you an direction where to look
