I have but it still leaves the http port accessible

Why do you feel that way? How are you verifying this?

Because even after a restart , the port shows that it's open in my dashboard settings. Whereas in the previous version , it wouldnt show the http port , just the https.

Ok no, that's not a correct way of judging it. You still need the local port open for traffic inside your local network.

I think you are fine.

I didn't need it on the last version. On the previous version, it only had the secure port open and wouldn't allow the local port. That is what I am trying to accomplish again. I don't want to leave the local port to http

No, sorry, it always had the local port open. The only reason it wouldn't display a local address on the emby server dashboard is if it were unable to detect one.

Just because the port is open in Emby server doesn't mean it's open to the world. I think maybe you are confusing the two. You can still close it off from the internet using your router settings, and that will be fine.
