Starlionblue 82 Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 I have yet to find folder art files (folder.jpg) I like to put in my folders. With MB2, I used Xzener's classic "clapperboard" but I don't feel they work very well in Media Browser Theater's folder view. The problem now is that a folder without a folder pic is a black rectangle. I'd like to propose a default that is either the text and no background (color same as background for MBT), or some sort of collage/slideshow of the folder content. At some point, I guess I'll find files I like, but many users never do. I'll add that the captions in the folder view don't match very well since their background is non-transparent and they cover up any folder pics. It would be nice to have transparent caption boxes where just the text is opaque, and the also option to disable the text boxes entirely. If you have a good folder.jpg, there's no need for the caption. In summary: Default art for folders in the form of either just the text (no black rectangle) or a collage/slideshow of content. The option to disable captions in folder view and transparent background for the caption text box.
shepP 7 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 I guess this would be a good place to add: Can the background of MBT be set to the same black that the background of the folder labels is? Right now the folder labels have a black background and MBT is a lighter shade of black. The same for the background at the login screen. The images I use for my users have a black background but the MBT background is a lighter shade of black so they don't blend in.
