torrys 1 Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 I have two Shield TV's both hardwired to their Emby server. Watching the same recorded show on each and one transcodes and one direct streams. Any idea why? See screen shot

kanipek 230 Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 Check the settings of the transcoding shield - audio settings probably. Also whatever is hooked up to that Shield might not support what the Shield is supplying it with. If there is any bluetooth device added to the Shield try removing it.
