Library Scans Slow. Logs say Error App: Error in The Open Movie Database

This has been happening since I have been evaluating Emby Vs Plex. Not sure if it is API key related or something with the code. I wish I could disable this scraper altogether. Please advise anyone... I have attached my main log file for ref.

Hi, you can disable any scraper you wish by clicking on the library in Emby library setup and configuring your preferred metadata providers.

For some reason they're returning a forbidden status code. I'm not sure of the reason. I wonder if they are geo-blocking you for some reason but i'm really not sure. I'll have to search around and see what i can find.

 

In any event, it's only a secondary provider so you're not really losing much by disabling it.

After the update, I am having issues finding how to disable. Can you help me find in the menu system? Thanks Luke

Go to emby library setup, click on your movie library, then scroll down to the section Movie Metadata Downloaders. Then repeat for your TV library.
