The new Emby version can't do ?

The way you're wording this question makes it sound like there's some kind of limitation. If you want collections to be automatically created, then just install the plugin. That's the way it's always been.

Thanks, I understand the difference in Collection management betwen emby solo and the plugin.

With this new version, are collections synced with "fast sync" ?

I'm pretty sure they always have been.

Run a manual sync by launching the emby for kodi add-on > manual sync

The server doesn't generate events for boxsets so the add-on can't pick up on changes automatically

Check out the FR: https://emby.media/c...ts-for-boxsets/

Have you run a library scan?

Yes I did. It's only doing it on some movies, they can't be associated...

Is there a specific file that store the association data between the movies and their collections?

Currently if a collection is empty you won't be able to see it. That's resolved for the next release. Thanks.

You can just run a refresh boxset instead, now by launching the add-on. The server plugin also syncs your boxset updates, this has been fixed with Kodi companion v2.0.3.0.

Thanks for your answer, you're right, I use the refresh boxset option.

I didn't noticed that the Kodi Companion replaced the old fast sync plugin.
