Issues with playback over LTE

I'm using Emby Server v3.3.1.0 and the latest version of Emby on my iPhone 7+

When I try to play an video over my home network in the Emby app the video plays perfectly. However when I try to play over my LTE connection nothing happens. It just sits there spinning and spinning after I hit play. All the menus load properly it's only when I try to watch something. My home internet is fiber optic 1000/1000 Mbps and my connection is very strong. I've tested my speeds on my phone with the speedtest.net app and I'm usually over 60Mbps up/down and on my cellphone depending on where I am it's better. I use to watch my tv shows while at work all the time but it just won't work anymore.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

*Edited* I thought I attach logs but forgot to hit the "Attach This File Button"

Yeah, sorry I thought I attached the logs. Came to check the post right before you replied and didn't see the attachment. They're there now.

Ok will do but I noticed also that when I use my external IP to connect to the server, ie, ***.***.***.***:8069 the page doesn't fully load.

Is 8069 the correct port?

It's not the port I use. I didn't want to advertise the ip/port in forums to my server. :) I did some more testing and when I go into my ATT uverse gateway and into the advanced firewall settings and turn everything off. Emby suddenly loads perfectly. Do you see something in there that could be causing the problem?

I'm not quite sure, sorry. What brand router is that? I haven't seen that configuration UI before.

It's a BGW210-700 from ATT Uverse

For some reason when I try to connect to my server via ip address and port it never fully loads. I thought those settings were doing something but they aren't. If I use emby connect, it connects fine. The iOS app shows my library etc but as previously stated nothing will play, I just get the spinning ring of death... lol Do you know about when the update for the iOS app will be out?

Hopefully soon.

I'm once again having issues connecting via LTE. I didn't want to start a new topic as it's almost the same problem. I can't connect to my server at all via LTE on my iphone anymore. I've tried using the emby app and tried using chrome and safari. I've also tried going to app.emby.media and am unable to connect that way either. I just get an error of "We're unable to connect to the selected server right now. Please ensure it is running and try again."

I'm turned off my firewall and even did ip passthrough to my computer with no luck. I've attached my logs and if you need any other info please let me know.

Have you ensured that the server is running, and that the ip address you're connecting with from the app is correct?

Yes everything is correct and I'm able to connect on my wifi when at home just not over LTE.

I would suggest checking out our Connection Troubleshooter:

https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Connectivity

Please try the steps listed there and let us know exactly which ones succeed and which ones do not. Thanks !

I believe I found the problem. I've always had the ports I use forwarded in my router config but at some point an option was added to Emby's advanced settings "Enable automatic port mapping" and was defaulted to on. If with that checked and the port forwarded in my router config, all traffic from external ips to that port was blocked. If I uncheck it or get rid of the forwarded port in my router, it suddenly works again.

Thanks for the feedback.
