Possible to temporarily stop library scanning ?

Im after a way to save me doing a ton of metadata updates.

 

I have 100 movies in HD to replace my SD versions in my library.  These are the same names, going to the same folders.

 

When I have done this in the past, they become new movies in Emby and are top of the list in latest movies.

 

I want them to NOT appear in the latest movies strip - in the past, I had to edit the date added to sometime ini the past to remove them from the 20 latest movie strip - but that was fine when just 1, but I have 100 ish to do.

 

So - anyway to put them in, but not have the metadata update ?

Cool - the auto monitoring of the file system also ?  disable that ?

I tries this - seems they are still appearing on the Latest Movies line.

Can that be changed to be sorted by release date ?  That would work for me.

I think if you changed your Date Added behavior to "Date imported to library" instead of files system date, it will do what you want.
