Plug-ins dead now?

Just upgrade to the latest server release (I try not to do that often as I like stable over new features) and my cover art is gone. Last time I upgrade the server my collections got messed up where I have mostly duplication's of everything in there now using auto box sets, so is it better to just stop using these plug-ins now? I'm guessing these are becoming legacy and cause more issues that they solve now?

 

If not how to ensure they don't brake every time we upgrade the server?

 

Thank you..and FWIW I am not a technical coder guy, just an end user, so if its not a option in the control panel, I'm not interested in workarounds, which is why my collections are still broken :-)

I still have the duplicate issue in box sets/collections - I was hopeful it would fix itself with future updates to the server, and then today I updated the server to the new 3.3 release and my cover art is gone. I still see the two add-ins and cover art is 4.0.66.0

 

Also I just opened the settings and my default profile is still there, but preview is not working.

The dashboard should be telling you there is an update for CoverArt available...

Okay, I guess there was a delay, I see that I have updates now and restarted, the cover art is back thanks! Now I just need to figure out how to clean up auto box sets with deleting the actual movies.
