De-selecting deinterlace sd content causes playback issue

When i de-select the option deinterlace sd content i get an error that the mi box or amazon fire cant reach the server and for some reason now my devices can't direct play interlaced content they were direct playing not long ago.

1.5.65a and i think its the same for the mi box but different letter at the end, the interface looks different.

If needed i can replicate the issue tonight and have the fire tv send in logs. Unless you are also able to replicate this.Conditions / setup is as follows

hdhr prime ( latest firmware )

channel comcast disney junior ( 244 )

 

client device: amazon fire tv gen 2 

de-select deinterlace sd content

have direct play selected

 

Then try to tune to disney junior.

 

On previous version of emby client i had direct play enabled, the de-interlace option i dont think existed and disney junior would direct play. Now it transcodes.
