Current state of Emby Addon with Kodi 18

I'm interested in the current state of the Emby Addon if used with Kodi 18.

I use currently the Kodi18 Nightly of 04.16 and always the newest Emby Addons (both).

Some months ago I wanted to test Input Stream, so I changed from Emby 17.6 to 18 nightlys.
At that time the Emby Addon didn't work at all, so I tried EmbyCon once and have been using it ever since.
With the AeonNox Silvo Skin, which I've been using for ages, everything works out fine, including widgets etc., optically and actually no differences in handling.

But I have the "normal" Emby Addon active again for a while, so that the local DB of Kodi is filled accordingly, because the Yatse App (which I also like to use sometimes) is otherwise not really usable.
For playing and displaying the widgets I use EmbyCon, only for filling the DB the Emby Addon.

Now I try the Emby Addon from time to time, but it still doesn't really work for me:
I can play the first selected file normally, but no other one.
Nothing happens then, but the status is always set immediately to "watched", the movie / episode disappears then immediately from the view of the last added media, I must then always correct this in the web interface.

So what is the current state of the Emby Addon in connection with the Kodi18 nightlys?

In the settings I have currently selected "Addon (Default)" as playback mode and "Play via HTTP instead of SMB" on, but I have already tried other combinations (Native doesn't work either), without success.
In Emby, I added the path to "(Optional) Shared Network Folder" everywhere, even if I hadn't used it at that time, since "Addon (Default)" was always selected as playback mode in the past.

Strange, as I said, that in general it can be played, but only for the first selection.

With the combination of EmbyCon for playback and Emby Addon for DB maintenance this works very well, but if the normal Emby Addon should work again sometime, then I could do it without EmbyCon again.

Kodi 18 will be officially support with Emby for Kodi when it hits the RC stage - until then it may or may not work with any given nightly/alpha/beta.

Leia is buggy at the moment. A lot of changes are still being made. The way things work in Krypton will not work with Leia. I'm actively working to support Leia, but it's not ready for rollout.
