awakening 5 Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Dear people Just moved from win7 to 8. Installed server and mbc and all worrked fine. After starting the PC the next morning i cannot login to the server/dashboard at: http://localhost:8096/mediabrowser/dashboard/dashboard.html Restarts do not work so i reinstalled and it worked fine again. I just did a PC restart to test it and it is back to not being able to log on to the server. server-63531258575.log server-63531258142.log
awakening 5 Posted March 24, 2014 Author Posted March 24, 2014 Found it. On starting the PC the MBS service was set to manual. I changed it to automatic and it works now. 1
ebr 16177 Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 If you are running the service, make sure you un-check run server at startup in the dashboard.
