AkashKS 4 Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 I changed ISP today. And I am currently using my new ISP's modem/router. This is probably a massive red herring, but I thought I'd mention it for full disclosure. It does seem like a massive coincidence though, that I change ISP/modem/router today, then the following issue starts. Although I don't see how there could possibly be a correlation. So here is the issue: Usually when I open Kodi, I get the welcome message (Welcome [username]! or Hello [username]! or whatever it says,) and then it scans for changes to my library. Today I open Kodi and no welcome message and the library doesn't update. So I do a full reset of the local Kodi database (Yes/Yes/No) and restart Kodi. Still no welcome message, and obviously no media showing in my library either due to resetting the database. I have restarted Kodi, rebooted the PC, dug around in the settings, etc. etc. numerous times, but cannot work out what the issue is. Emby for Kodi v3.0.21 running on Kodi 17.6 on Windows 10. Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks.

AkashKS 4 Posted April 19, 2018 Author Posted April 19, 2018 I appear to have worked out why this was happening. Due to changing ISP/modem/router, the In-Home (LAN) access address had changed, and I needed to update this in the Server Address field of the Emby for Kodi settings. Having done this, it is now working as normal. My apologies for wasting everybody's time. 1
