Is ADE Provider working for any one?

I'm not sure if this was ever updated for the new provider infrastructure.  If it hasn't been, we should remove it from the catalog.

@@Luke I can get you some logs when I get home this afternoon.  I wasn't getting any errors, just nothing was scraping (on initial scan and refresh).  Though, I am not sure if I tried the Identify button.  Will a log of a manual refresh be sufficient?

 

Manually trying to select images/covers/etc did not work either - as nothing was displayed to select from.

Hi let me get some details for you...one sec. Note I was able to grab the metadata with no issue using MCM.

 

Question: Is it on the roadmap to add authentication to the TMDB provider? Reason I ask is that a lot of Adult content is there, but is not searchable unless you authenticate. I know, a bit off topic, but useful down the road.

Right now i'm just looking for ttgapers error, which might just be due to not updating the plugin. if there are no errors then we just need to wait for Scott to test it out. Maybe @@snazy2000 can help

There was a discussion in the metabrowser forums how about 3 months ago its adult empire plugin stopped working due to changes to the site.  Apparently the metabrowser plugin has since been fixed.  Not sure how long media browser version has not been working, but may have been caught by the same change.

Interesting.  The ADE server is actually failing.  Maybe they are having problems or they have changed something in their API.

Hopefully someone can help, if not the ADE Provider right now is pretty useless.

 

How easy it is to figure out the backing code & MB3 integration in ADE Provider? If it is relatively straight forward I might be able to find the time to take a crack at it.

It's defunct due to ADE changes. Someone needs to pick it up and resurrect it. Maybe @@snazy2000 will be interested.

 

I would like to volunteer to pick it up

 

I mentioned above on access to the source code etc. I should be able to get up to speed in the ADE API and applying the changes to the logic. Let me know what you think.

It has been removed from the list of available plugins as it is broken. The original developer has no time to update, but maybe someone will pick it up.
