Emby Server - All episodes in 1 season

I've noticed that my Emby Server (Windows 10, V3.3.1.0) has put all 7th Heaven episodes (I know, but the wife wanted it) into 1 season (Season 7).

So essentially, it just shows 1 season for the entire show (Season 7) which contains all the episodes.

In Kodi, running the Emby add-on, it corrects itself. But on Roku, etc. it shows as it does on the server.

I've deleted and refreshed all metadata. I've also opened the nfo files for episodes and verified that the season and episodes tags are correct.

Hi, check the episode and season numbers that are assigned for each of them in the emby metadata editor. thanks.

They are correct, just all lumped into Season 7 for some reason. See attached.

yeah..I've even deleted the entire series and re-downloaded, same result - all out of ideas.

I set up a Plex server and it displayed everything properly

The 7th in the series name could possibly be the culprit. I'll try to test this series soon, thanks.

What is the folder structure and naming scheme used for this series?

I have this series but has xml metadata and has no issue, but can test on test machine if needed.

Consistent with all other media, Sonarr handles naming and moving, Emby does metadata.

Structure as follows:

Show Title

Show Title - Season x

Show Title - SxEx - Episode Title

Was this ever resolved? I am experiencing the exact same issue with "That 70's Show"

Hi there, can you please describe the issue that you're having? How are your files named and organized?

My apologies for the slow response. I have solved the issue, at least on my own server.

It seems that somewhere in the scanning or conversion process, the "season.nfo"  file for each season set the Season parameter to 70, therefore causing Emby to place most episodes into season 70. Changing the season.nfo files to the proper season numbers and rescanning the library corrected trhe issue.
