benbour 12 Posted April 13, 2018 Posted April 13, 2018 I've noticed that my Emby Server (Windows 10, V3.3.1.0) has put all 7th Heaven episodes (I know, but the wife wanted it) into 1 season (Season 7). So essentially, it just shows 1 season for the entire show (Season 7) which contains all the episodes. In Kodi, running the Emby add-on, it corrects itself. But on Roku, etc. it shows as it does on the server. I've deleted and refreshed all metadata. I've also opened the nfo files for episodes and verified that the season and episodes tags are correct.
Luke 42085 Posted April 13, 2018 Posted April 13, 2018 Hi, check the episode and season numbers that are assigned for each of them in the emby metadata editor. thanks.
benbour 12 Posted April 13, 2018 Author Posted April 13, 2018 They are correct, just all lumped into Season 7 for some reason. See attached.
benbour 12 Posted April 13, 2018 Author Posted April 13, 2018 Is it just with this one series? yeah..I've even deleted the entire series and re-downloaded, same result - all out of ideas.
benbour 12 Posted April 14, 2018 Author Posted April 14, 2018 yeah..I've even deleted the entire series and re-downloaded, same result - all out of ideas. I set up a Plex server and it displayed everything properly
Luke 42085 Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 The 7th in the series name could possibly be the culprit. I'll try to test this series soon, thanks. 1
Happy2Play 9783 Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 What is the folder structure and naming scheme used for this series? I have this series but has xml metadata and has no issue, but can test on test machine if needed.

Structure as follows: Show Title Show Title - Season x Show Title - SxEx - Episode Title
chezzy2 2 Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 Was this ever resolved? I am experiencing the exact same issue with "That 70's Show"

chezzy2 2 Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 Was this ever resolved? I am experiencing the exact same issue with "That 70's Show" My apologies for the slow response. I have solved the issue, at least on my own server. It seems that somewhere in the scanning or conversion process, the "season.nfo" file for each season set the Season parameter to 70, therefore causing Emby to place most episodes into season 70. Changing the season.nfo files to the proper season numbers and rescanning the library corrected trhe issue. 1
