Remote Control Freezes

When using the "playOn" function the remote control on the IOS-App often freezes. As an example I start a movie with the IOS app and play it on my kodi client. At 0:20 I use the IOS app to switch the language and after that the time-indication stops running at 0:20 and I can not use the remote anymore. Movie continues to play fine.

 

Is this a known problem?

 

 

Also the navigation in the app is really awkward. It is almost impossible to navigate a movie on a IPhone with the scrollbar. Are there any plans to implement a fast-forward and back button (like almost all other media streaming apps do)?
