Fire TV problems playing video since latest upgrade

I have a movie that played fine before the latest stable upgrade but now won't play until the 3rd attempt since the upgrade to 1.5.65a

The video tries to play and fails so I get the "is there a problem?" message and I say yes. Then the video tries to play again and I get the "is there a problem?" message for a second time and I say yes. Then the video switches to transcoding (Trans/I) and plays OK.

 

On the previous version of the app it would play straight off but the server would remux the video (Remux/I).

 

This is the only video I've noticed the issue on so far but I guess there could be others. The same video plays fine on my Shield.

Interesting.

 

The only reason it was remuxing before was the audio and we are now able to handle that app-side so it is trying to direct stream it.  But it never starts nor does it throw an error.

 

Do you have the server log from that same time?

The server log is attached to the OP (log.txt) do you need a log in debug mode?

Sorry, I got confused by the time differences .

 

The server starts sending the file but it never goes out of the buffering state in the player and the server craps out (pretty quickly, actually - only 2.4 secs):

Can you try the beta of the app?  It updates the player on the Fire.
