PenkethBoy 2068 Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 if you have it on 2012r2 - the upgrade option is goosed it goes through the process ok uninstall > install> but then comes up with the uninstall dialog again! if you click no/cancel - HB will not load click yes instead and then install from a manually downloaded exe - then HB will run - preferences are kept
legallink 187 Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 I'm still running .9 because the upgrade to 1/X borked all of my presets and ended up with a worse end product. Anyone have a solid path to preserve all that?
Happy2Play 9780 Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 I'm still running .9 because the upgrade to 1/X borked all of my presets and ended up with a worse end product. Anyone have a solid path to preserve all that? All my presets were preserved with the update, but not exactly sure what version I was on before the update though. Just updated a system with .10 on it and it looks like they changed from xml files to a json file for configs in "C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\HandBrake".
