AdrianW 1058 Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 (edited) For the last couple of days - every time I start ET I'm getting a "Select Server" screen and the after selecting (my one and only server) I have to choose from "Connect" or "Delete. Previously starting ET would go directly to the select user screen, but now I have two extra button presses for zero benefit. I would think the vast majority of users have only one server so why make them select one? Note: If you have "Remember Me" checked then the Select Server screen doesn't appear. Please change ET back to remove the up front Select Server step. Also, clicking on the "Help" button on the select server screen opens a web page behind ET (so it's not visible) and ET loses focus - so I had to get a mouse to continue. Diedrich 377 Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 A few days ago I started getting the "select server" prompt on both Emby Theater stable and iOS beta. Android stable and Roku stable have not had this issue. These are all LAN clients and I'm running Emby Server stable. I have not made any configuration changes and I regularly logout when using ET but not with the other apps. Has anyone seen this?
AdrianW 1058 Posted April 12, 2018 Author Posted April 12, 2018 I haven't been able to reproduce this. Make sure you have not got "remember me" checked, meaning you have to select a user when starting ET.
Crestj 68 Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Had the same thing yesterday and today. I did notice that after closing ET the first time it happened it asked for permission to install the IR thing (sorry didn't pay too much attention to the exact error). It's the install that happens as part of the normal ET install. I assume it was doing an update but can't be sure.
