riverboat2001 20 Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 (edited) Win10 Emby server version 3.3.1.0 Emby Theatre on same pc The problem I have is that in Nextpvr i can set up single record or series record almost instantly. However I'm unable to record in either Emby Theatre or Emby Webrowser. The circle just spins. Live TV plays just fine. There was a post last year describing something similar, but the guy could record series, but not single episodes. But as I said I can't record anything. I've tried it with the firewall disabled and I've checked port 8096 is enabled in the firewall. The guy last year said he fixed it by enabling upnp. It is already turned on in my BT Homehub. I've started the upnp service (windows service) to run automatically and I've restarted the firewall. I did read on here that enabling upnp is dangerous. All my apps can see and stream from the server. I'm at the limit of my knowledge so really need a bit of help please. server-63659043402.txt Edited April 11, 2018 by riverboat2001
Solution riverboat2001 20 Posted April 11, 2018 Author Solution Posted April 11, 2018 https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/55421-unable-to-schedule-recordings/ This fixed it. I had the schedules direct epg in both nextpvr and emby. I think the problem was that in nextpvr i had to use three different epg lists from Schedules Direct, but i also put my details in emby and but only put in the generic UK cable one. Anyway to solve it, I removed the schedule direct details completely in Emby. Then I shutdown the Emby server. Opened Nextpvr and updated the epg. Re-opened Emby server. Went in and ran the refresh epg task. And that solved the problem. Now I guess the best thing is to schedule the refresh of Emby epg after the Nextpvr refresh each night.
