tuvx 14 Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 When family outside my network use the Emby app, they are able to see Collections, Movies, Music, and TV, but not Playlists. Is this expected behavior, or is there a setting to enable?
tuvx 14 Posted April 9, 2018 Author Posted April 9, 2018 No, I was referring to the Playlists I see under my account. Are you suggesting Playlists are user specific? If so, are they able to be shared?

I have a number of Users and wanted to share several Playlists I created with them, so I created an XML "template" of Share elements with all the UserIDs and edit permissions and copied it into each Playlist XML file.
tuvx 14 Posted April 10, 2018 Author Posted April 10, 2018 (edited) Maybe I am confused... I created a new playlist under a different user (to whom I will be sharing the existing lists). After creating the playlist (and not editing the XML files), all the playlists appear. On a side note, I have to playlists that seem two playlists always appear no matter if I delete them; they are not in the %appdata%\Romaing\Emby-Server\programdata\data\playlists\ folder, but instead on my NAS. Any ideas on either these issues? Edited April 10, 2018 by tuvx
