Mikeferdy 0 Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 Anime series usually have PV videos, Specials and OVAs on top of their seasons. So I got this problem where emby auto identifies PV - 01, Specials - 01, OVAs - 01 and Season 01 - 01 all as Season 1 episode 1, even though I kept them in their separate folders PV, OVA, Specials and Seasons. How do I disable this auto identify feature and make emby display them as it if from their original folders?
Luke 42090 Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 Hi, you can turn off internet metadata features for that library in emby library setup. Please let us know if this helps. thanks.

I'll try that. But does that mean it will never download metadata from the internet or can I still get internet metadata if I manually identify each series or episodes?
Luke 42090 Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 It will never download in that situation. An alternative option is locking individual episodes that you want to lock by using the editor functions.

But how do I organize episodes that are suppose to be in the "PV" and "OVA" folder? Coz I can only see you can set a season number in the metadata manager. Edited April 9, 2018 by Mikeferdy
Luke 42090 Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 If they are specials then they would go under the Season 0 or Specials folder and then you probably will want to lock them.
