Emby Theatre not Playing any content

Recommended Posts

I have Emby Server 3.3.1.0 and also Emby Theatre 3.0.0 (both installed on the Media PC running Windows 10) and I cannot get any content to play. I have tried MKV titles that were working correctly previously, Blu Ray rips. I can't even get music to play.

All of my content is on a Windows 2012 server and the Emby Server library is configured to obtain the folder content via file shares - all of this was working up until a few weeks ago when it suddenly stopped working. I have been resorting to use MPC-HC and browsing manually to the file shares.

I don't think it's file permissions as I can play the content from the web app on the Media PC and the logs are not giving me a clue (I have attached the Server and ET logs).

The error I am getting in ET (after a few minutes of doing nothing) is:

No Compatible Streams are Currently Available. Please try again or contact your system administrator for details.

Could someone help please?

When I use MPC-HC as the external player, everything plays fine so I am thinking that it is an issue with MPV.

Ok, I downloaded the latest lachs0r MPV and replaced the one that installs with ET and it is all now working. I think things broke then ET was last updated and MPV looks to be the root cause.
