You can UNCHECK any or all of these, but how do you then SAVE the new setting?

Backing out through SETTINGS doesn't work.

IDEAS?

hi, all you have to do is click back and close the dialog. if the programs in the guide don't change, then it probably means your guide data doesn't have this information.

Click back doesn't work, so the guide must lack the info as you say.  It's Schedules Direct.  Too bad.

When you open that settings dialog back up, are the checkbox states saved? Schedules direct usually does have this information.

What exactly are you expecting to happen? The only thing that happens is it hides certain programs based on the checkboxes.

I am trying to uncheck (which can be done) KIDS and SPORTS, then have these new settings saved as I back out through the "Back" arrow SETTINGS (which doesn't work, either does the back arrow of my browser).  I should say, It does appear to work initially after backing out, but the settings don't save after, let's say, a refresh.

Why do you think your browser back arrow doesn't work? Works just fine for me in every browser that i've tested.

But do the choices you've made REMAIN?  Exit out of Emby, then back in.  When I do this, the defaults (all 4) are checked despite my having unchecked two of them and backed out prior to exiting.

Yes. Click 3-dot menu to open settings -> toggle checkboxes -> click back -> click 3-dot menu  to open settings -> checkbox settings remain.

We're still on different 'pages'.

Make your changes, save them however you choose then EXIT Emby.  Re-start Emby and see what you get.

Can you spell this out exactly by explaining these steps?

save them however you choose then EXIT Emby

Click 3-dot menu to open settings -> toggle checkboxes -> click back -> Close,(close the tab or close the browser altogether) then re-open Emby and check if the changes you made are correct.

Ok those settings are not meant to be persisted for next time. They are just for the current session only. So in other words, don't close the browser.

HA!  Should I go add this to the suggestions category?
