nmbguy 0 Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 I have searched and have not found specifics on how music videos and movies are treated differently. I have a concert video that has multiple audio tracks, but only plays as stereo in my music video collection. If I put the same video in my movie collection, I have the option to pick between the different audio formats (including DD 5.1). Are many playback options (such as audio track selection) eliminated for music videos? Is there documentation on what the other differences are between music videos and movies?
Luke 42078 Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 Hi, no there aren't. It should be exactly the same. What app are you seeing this with?
nmbguy 0 Posted April 6, 2018 Author Posted April 6, 2018 The server is running on Windows 7 and I was using the Android TV app on a Nvidia Shield TV 2017.
ebr 16178 Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 Hi. Can you show some screen shots? Also, does it behave differently with the web app?
nmbguy 0 Posted April 10, 2018 Author Posted April 10, 2018 So, after I added to video file to my movies folder to check it out there, I moved it back to my music video folder and now I have the option for the 2 audio tracks. Not sure if that had anything to do with it or what happened. All I really know it is that is seems to be working properly. Thanks for all of the quick responses.
ebr 16178 Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Okay, just sounds like the item hadn't been properly probed yet and your moving it around forced that to happen. In the future, you can try a manual refresh of the item from the web app. Thanks.
