T800 10 Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 I just turned on Kodi on my Nvidia Shield and it asked me to sign back into the Emby. I went through the settings and SMB playback is now missing. I have the option of Native or Addon. I picked native. It also has force HTTP. Do I select that if I don't want transcoding? Why the change?
Angelblue05 4132 Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 (edited) If you pick native playback mode, then nothing in the playback tab really applies unless you go through the context menu > force transcode. It will grab your paths from the emby server and add those to your Kodi. There has been no change as far as this, native has always been that way. Edited April 6, 2018 by Angelblue05
