Moving Emby from Synology to Windows

I am wanting to move my Emby server from a Synology NAS to a Windows Box.

 

- Movies will remain on Synology NAS

- Emby server will be moved to Windows Box

- All clients are Roku Ultra

 

Am I able to use the backup plugin to restore the Emby server configuration on the Windows box?

I assume I will need to change the library location to a network share?

 

What are all the steps to accomplish this?

Hi, you'll need to set the libraries up from scratch, but the backup plugin can help with things like moving users and user data. Please let us know if this helps.
