ajstratmann 0 Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 I have 2 issues going on with my guide on Emby that I'm hoping someone can help me with. Issue 1 - My local channels are showing on the guide, but the guide isn't picking up the program information or the photos for the channels. The local channels are coming into the media server through HDHomerun. Can someone help me with getting that information to show? Issue 2 - All of my IP streaming channels show up on the guide which is great. My issue is that none of them are showing pictures for the program when looking at 'What's On Now' or what's coming up. They show pictures once I DVR a show, but I'd like everything to show a pictures instead of just a colored box with text. Can someone give me some instructions on how to make those show? Thanks...

When I was using Plex, the local channels came in through the HDHomerun box, but I'm not getting the locals come through on the guide. I'm getting guide data on all the other channels...I'm just not getting pictures on those. My locals I'm not getting guide data or pictures. If you think Schedules Direct will fix both of those, I'll give it a shot.

Ok, I will check into that. I'm sure I can find some instructions somewhere on how to get xmltv guide data for HDHomerun. What about having the pictures show instead of the colored box with text for like the On Now or Upcoming Shows? Would that get solved by schedules direct also? I feel like I saw a setting when I was setting up to download pictures, but it would take longer to load the guide. I can't seem to find where that setting is anymore...but I don't know if that was the setting.
