Playlist upgrade

Would it be possible to exclude watched videos from playlists? While you may want to include for music lists, when playing larger video lists it does not always make sense.

Also, would be nice if you could resume playing a shuffled playlist.

I like to use playlists as "channels" (similiar to PseudoTV).

As an example, I may have a playlist of 3 or 4 comedy TV shows with over 600 episodes. If I wish to watch the list on shuffle, it would be nice if it skipped watched episodes. The watched shows will continue to change and so excluding upfront would not make sense.
