Inordinate files in emby config directory

While testing to resolve a problem with my Emby setup I ended up restoring the config directory from a previous backup. I have approximately 1800 total videos in my library. The config directory appears to contain approximately 62K files. That is, assuming all of these files are necessary, approximately 34 files for each video. I do have chapter images enabled but still that number seems disproportionate.

 

 

Is there a method to "clean" unused config files, or less ideally, purge and regenerate them?

They get deleted automatically over time.
