Techie-v2 2 Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Evening all, happy easter. Tonight Im suddenly seeing the message "No compatible streams are currently available, please try again later or contact your system administrator". This is when playing using the android app or chrome browser on the server. It was working fine this morning and as far as I know nothing has changed, no updates or anything. I have seen a few posts relating to this but they were all for Linux installs, I`m on windows. Attached are the server logs for two different sessions, once before and once after restarting the server. There was no transcodeing logs generated for the timr. I can still browse my NAS fine and browse the library but cant play anything. Thanks for your help in advance. server-63658208945.txt server-63658137600.txt
Techie-v2 2 Posted April 2, 2018 Author Posted April 2, 2018 Hi Luke, The M: drives is a mapped drive to my NAS. I have tested with both mapped drives and unc paths and get the same result. Thanks
Luke 42092 Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Can you please try again with unc paths and then attach log files based on that? We do not recommend mapped drives because windows will disconnect those when idle and that's what appears to me might have happened. thanks.
Techie-v2 2 Posted April 3, 2018 Author Posted April 3, 2018 Hmmmm, I tested on another phone and it worked. Went back to my main phone and still didn't work. Went back the next day and suddenly it worked again now. Strange one. I've never had a problem using mapped drives in the past. I doubt the mapped drive would have been disconnected due to it being idle as I could browse it in windows fine and like I said some of my libraries are mapped drives, some are Inc paths and no media was playing from and library. Frustrating that it works now without knowing why. Thanks
