Sunday issues have been resolved......

for weeks now I have wrestled with Server issues every Sunday morning.  I started with corrupted user.db files so I couldn't log in all the way to Live TV not working.  It was intensely frustrating to wake up every Sunday in a wrestling match with Emby Server.

 

Thanks to this forum and some dumb troubleshooting luck I think I have it resolved after discovering two issue.

 

First, from this forum I learned there could be a problem with multiple serviers starting.  When looking at my startup files I did see the legacy MediaBrowser entry as well as my Emby entry.  I am thinking my login issues and corrupted files may be due to that.  I removed MediaBrower startup and used NSSM to start the Emby Server with Delayed Start.

 

Next I realized that I have two Hauppauge cards giving me 4 tuners however the native Emby Live TV connect to my tuners only would use one tuner and not use the second although it was recognized by the Server.  On Sunday mornings I had two TV programs at 9:00am and could not watch any other program.  I also realized the recordings actually crash and stop working when I tried to watch the 3rd channel.  To mitigate this I went back to the NextPVR plugin.  I have confirmed I can now use all four tuners at the same time.

 

I'm not sure what the issues were causing native LIve TV conflicts but I am will to test if you want me to try anything.
